Kaufman Trailers Basic Tandem Utility Trailers are available in 6,000 or 6,500 GVWR. The 6,500 GVWR trailer adds a wrap-around channel tongue. Our Basic Utility Trailer features our light duty frame with a 3×3 angle bottom frame and a 2×2 toprail. Included is a full width 4' landscape gate, but NO spring assist. Stud mounted lights with conventional wiring meet DOT requirements. A treated floor, and a 2 5/16? coupler with a top-wind jack are included features. Brakes are standard on one axle. The Basic Utility Trailer Tandem Axle Landscape family is our lowest priced line and is a great investment for the price-conscious buyer.

Our 18' Basic Tandem Axle Utility Trailer 6500 GVWR is equipped with a lighter frame and less features than our standard models to give you a competitive price. The mainframe is 3x3x3/16 angle with a lighter 2x2x1/8 top rail. We add a 4? channel wrap around tongue over the 6,000 GVWR model. Dovetail and spring assist on the landscape gate are not included as on the standard model. Lighter 2x2x1/4 cross-members, and brakes on one axle are part of the package. Standard features include: DOT approved, stud mount lights, a fixed 2 5/16? A-frame coupler, top wind jack, heavy duty diamond plate fenders, stake pockets, two-wheel brakes (second braking axle optional), radial tires, and pressure treated wood flooring.
